You won’t find many capuchin monkeys in Jaco hotels, but they do live in the jungle covered mountains that ring the Jaco valley. Because DoceLunas is at the edge of the jungle and has maintained a natural canopy, capuchin monkeys come visit here. Especially in March, April, and May, when the mangoes are ripe. They also come in November for the palm nuts. Here are a couple monkeys that we saw today.
